"The best prize that life has to offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing." -Theodore Roosevelt
My name is Jess. I may call myself a lifestyle photographer/ videographer on my website but in reality I am merely an observer in life. While I honed my craft at Rocky Mountain School of Photography, my vision behind the lens was formed during years of long haul trucking, horse wrangling and machine operation in the oilfields. It's not the typical resume for a photographer, but I have always felt that if I wanted to authentically capture "work worth doing," I had to put in some work myself. That blue collar work didn't just give me an eye for photos and calluses on my hands; It gave me a work ethic and loyalty that I bring to every creative project. When I am not wrangling photo clients, I can be found wrangling horses at Triple Creek Ranch.
